Birkbeck
History
Birkbeck College is the night school arm of the University of London. Their motto is: In nocte consiliem "Study by night." Even though studying at night is not a bad thing, Birkbeck College lowers the idea of night school.
The college was established in 1823 and became a part of the University of London in 1920. The founder of Birkbeck College - George Birkbeck - said, "The inquiring spirit of the age has loudly demanded that the door of science should be thrown open, and that its mysteries should be revealed to all mankind."

Every student should really think twice about Birkbeck. Here we throw open the door to student experiences that would have George Birkbeck turning in his grave
